This old house was nearly a ruin, but after a 2-year refurbishing it has become a contemporary house within 300 year old walls. Its origin is, likely, in the late 17th century. It was built –like others in the neighbourhood– on the hard rocks of the hill, in an elevated position; the raised pavements at the sides of the street, called timbes, are really picturesque. It is built with the local limestone marès and also with stones and mortar. While all the roofs and floors have been rebuilt because of their bad condition, old walls have been preserved, repaired and reinforced, with special care to maintain their original irregular surfaces and layout, free of parallel walls and right angles! Old doors and windows that were in more or less good condition have been restored. Special emphasis has been put on he preservation of all those original building elements that give personality to the house.
The construction consisted in several rooms for persons, barns for almonds and stables for livestock, now adapted to human use. There were no facilities, not even water pipes or toilets. Everything is brand new, including a powerful air conditioning system to keep it warm or cool all year round. The house is sold equiped and with basic furniture to allow an immediate use if desired. Two patios, a swimming pool and 3 terraces grant a pleasant life, for holiday or as permanent residence. And a nice garage, of course

Guest suite: • under the ancient barrel vault, the stable has become a suite, with its private bathroom and closet. All the old elements, like the troughs, have been preserved. At the roof a nice terrace with a spendid view on Felanitx and in clear days, the Serra de Tramontana is visible. Unforgettable sunsets! • between the two constructions a swimming pool has been bored manually in the rock, to make most pleasant the warm summer days and nights
